Los Angeles and Irvine

It's been nearly two quarters since I last updated this.
I've been caught up in the joys and throes of life.
I've experienced so many different things over the past few months.
Coupling the good and the bad, it's been refreshing--rejuvenating.
Life is so grand.

I had an exceptionally memorable weekend traveling around Los Angeles and Irvine doing so many things that I love. I drew and I photographed and I visited places I had never been to and I met new people and I hung out with my dear friends and I reveled in what life has to offer me.

Thank you to everyone I was with for such a beautiful weekend.

Week One

But I won't be a weak one
I seek them, and the others, we'll treat them. 

This week,
A return to actual school work, as well more times with friends--old and new
Looks like we're really back in school.
Moreover,
I've been to the edge of many cliffs, but I've never had the urge to jump.
Instead, I look at what's before me, and I smile--maybe even laugh a little.
If I were to jump, it would only be to live and fly.
How grand are life and the world, right?
Grand, grand.

 

Apartment Ambiance

It's been a mile
It's been a while...

I've been getting used to the new apartment with some of my old suite-mates, and it's been interesting. Contrary to the past year, I already feel at home here.

Beautiful. Just... beautiful...

     Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Mary Lambert, as well as so many other people have come together to create a beautiful music video for an already beautiful song. I hope for a day when songs and artists such as these will be the mainstream. Here's to change.

Welcome Back

It never ceases to amaze how quickly time flies by. Here I am at my second welcome week at university, over a year already since my first, and it's over already. I'm looking forward to this year, though I do not know what it has in store for me, but I guess that is what is so enticing about it. Meet me by the shores of life, and I will take your hand--Let's keep moving.
